Reviews and Ratings <br />
The resort has beautiful surroundings and offers great food, but the bathrooms are a significant drawback. Additionally, the service is lacking and the facilities need some attention. Overall, it has potential but could use some improvements to be truly enjoyable.
Our stay was enjoyable thanks to the spacious and comfortable room with a lovely view, but the dining experience was quite disappointing with subpar food and high prices. The outdoor areas could use some attention, making it a less than ideal stay overall.
The hotel has an impressive building and location, being the best in St. Helens, but unfortunately, the service and cleanliness left much to be desired. We faced issues with our dinner and found the price too high for what we received. The experience was further marred by unclean sheets in our room, although the staff did try to remedy this by offering a new room. Overall, while the setting is lovely, they need to seriously improve their service and quality control.
Tidal Waters Resort is a decent place to stay, especially under last-minute circumstances. The location is beautiful, with a lovely view of the inlet and swans, plus it’s conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The staff at reception were gracious and helpful, which made our stay pleasant. However, the rooms feel a bit dated, and while they were clean and tidy, they lacked some modern amenities. The dining experience could be improved, as service was slow and prices were on the higher side. Overall, it's a value-for-money choice if you're looking for a basic stay with nice views.
The Tidal Waters Resort boasts a lovely view over the lake and has a friendly atmosphere, but it really fell short in terms of overall experience. The decor is noticeably old and the service felt rushed, especially regarding dining options. To add to the frustration, the amenities didn’t quite match the price tag, leaving me feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth.
